Delivery of Beds and Mattresses is FREE to all addresses within a 25 mile radius of Scarborough, North Yorkshire, UK.

We do not currently offer nationwide delivery.

We mostly use our own drivers and vehicles to make weekly deliveries to the following areas:

Deliveries to addresses just beyond 25 miles may also be possible although there may be a delivery charge.

In House Delivery - By Bed Warehouse

Stock delivery:

Bed Warehouse delivery vanMany items are available for delivery from our extensive Scarborough warehouse stock on the next available delivery day for your area as shown above.  The majority of beds and mattresses are delivered by two experienced, uniformed drivers using our own vehicles and can be taken into you room of choice provided a safe and unobstructed access route is available.  Our delivery staff carry disposable plastic overshoes to minimise any damage to carpets and furnishings.  We also recommend the use of dust sheets or similar when possible, especially in wet weather, as packaging will have collected dust and dirt on the journey through various warehouses and vehicles.


Non-stock deliveries:

Items not available from stock are ordered from our suppliers and delivered firstly to our warehouse, then forwarded to our customers by our own staff and vehicles as described above.  The lead time for such deliveries depends on the supplier involved, the day the order is placed, and your delivery address. Typically non stock orders are delivered within 1-3 weeks but other items such as Hypnos beds and mattresses are bespoke items made to order and can take up to 6 weeks.  A likely delivery time is shown for those products that require ordering although we do suggest contacting us by phone to discuss the likely delivery time for the specific product(s) that you're interested in.

Next day delivery - By Courier:

A next day delivery service is available on some products from certain suppliers and is carried out by a third party courier company.  Next day delivery refers to the next working day for orders taken Monday to Friday before 12 noon. E.g. an order placed on Friday morning will be delivered the following Monday.  Please note, we are not able to provide a specific time of arrival for courier deliveries and the service is to the ground floor entrance only.  If for some reason we are unable to fulfill this delivery time scale we will inform you as soon as possible.

On placing an order using the next day service you will receive a confirmation email and the Goods will be dispatched straight away. No further delivery information will be provided unless for some unfortunate reason the item(s) ordered are unavailable for next day delivery, in which case we will phone or email you with alternative options for you to consider.

Arranging Deliveries:

fp phone.jpgOnce your order has been received, a member of Scarborough Bed Warehouse team will contact you by phone to book a convenient delivery slot or with more precise information about the availability of the product(s) you have ordered.  Once a delivery slot has been booked, please ensure that someone is at home to receive the goods. Our drivers are happy to phone you a few minutes before they arrive if this helps, or if the destination is hard to find.  Please mention this at the time of booking the delivery and ensure we have the correct phone number.

If you are unable to receive delivery as planned please contact us as soon as possible to arrange for another attempt to be made.
